¹ My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

¹⁵ All of you shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbour.

¹⁷ All of you shall not respect persons in judgment; but all of you shall hear the small as well as the great; all of you shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

¹⁹ You shall not shift judgment; you shall not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

⁷ Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

⁷ Lift up your heads, O all of you gates; and be all of you lift up, all of you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. ⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. ⁹ Lift up your heads, O all of you gates; even lift them up, all of you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. ¹⁰ Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

²³ These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

²¹ To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

¹⁶ And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, neither care you for any man: for you regard not the person of men.

² And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

²¹ Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴ And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

¹¹ For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end all of you may be established;

⁸ Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

⁴ Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the (o. agape) love which all of you have to all the saints,

¹⁹ Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

²¹ I charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

¹ Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

¹³ Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word (o. rhema) of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

³ And all of you have respect to him that wears the cheerful clothing, and say unto him, Sit you here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand you there, or sit here under my footstool:

⁹ But if all of you have respect to persons, all of you commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
