³⁵ Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

³¹ I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings. ³² And I myself will lay waste the land, and your enemies who are living in it shall be appalled over it.

²⁵ Let their palace be desolate, and let no one dwell in their tents.

²⁶ Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; from the house of the LORD we bless you.

⁷ Your country is desolate; your cities are burned with fire; your land, strangers eat it up in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. ⁸ The daughter of Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.

⁵ Now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be eaten up. ⁹ You bring good news to Zion. Go up on a high mountain. You bring good news to Jerusalem. Lift up your voice with a shout! Lift it up and do not be afraid! Say to the towns of Judah: "Here is your God!" ¹⁰ See the Sovereign Sovereign LORD comes with power. His arm (power) rules for him. ⁷ How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

¹⁰ Thy holy cities are become a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. ¹¹ Our holy and beautiful Temple where our ancestors praised you has been burned to the ground. All that we valued has been ruined.

⁵ But if you don't listen to these words, I swear," declares the LORD, "that this house will become a ruin."'"

²⁶ After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined. ²⁷ And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on a wing of the altar will be abominations that desolate, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall pour out on the desolator.

⁴ For the children of Israel shall live many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without sacred stone, and without ephod or idols. ⁵ Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

¹² Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed up like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the temple Mount like a forest high place."

¹ Open your doors, O Lebanon, so that the fire may devour your cedars. ² Wail, cypress tree, for the cedar has fallen while the stately trees are destroyed. Wail, oak trees of Bashan, for the old growth forest has been cut down.

¹⁰ I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

² I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem, to lay siege against it. The city will be captured, the houses will be ransacked, the women raped, and half of the city will go into exile, but the remaining people will not be cut off from the city.

⁹ The crowds that went before him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

⁹ Those who went in front, and those who followed, shouted, "Hosanna. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. ¹⁰ Blessed, is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!

³⁸ Blessed is the King that comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! ³⁹ Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples." ⁴⁰ He replied, "I tell you, if they were quiet, the stones would cry out!"

⁵ As some of the disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and consecrated gifts, Jesus said, ⁶ “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one will be toppled.”

²⁴ They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

³⁴ You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.” ³⁵ The Jews said to one another, "Where is this man going that we shall not find him? Will he go to the Jews who are scattered among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? ³⁶ What does he mean when he said, 'You will seek me and you will not find me,' and, 'Where I am you cannot come'?"

²² So the Jews said, "Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come'?" ²³ Then He told them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. ²⁴ I told you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.

¹³ They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the King of Israel!”

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest the darkness overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. ³⁶ While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." When Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from them.

¹⁹ And the world will not see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also shall live. ²⁰ On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. ²¹ He who has my commands and keeps them — he is the one that loves me. ⁹ that if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, "No one who believes in him will be put to shame." ¹² For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on Him, ¹³ for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ¹⁴ How then can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? ¹⁵ And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

¹⁵ And even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. ¹⁶ But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. ¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ¹⁸ And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
