² My soul shall boast in the Lord; let the meek hear, and rejoice.

²² I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you. ²³ You who fear the LORD, praise him. All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him. Revere him, all you descendants of Israel. ²⁴ For He has not despised nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; and He has not hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard.

⁵ I acknowledged my sin to you and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. ⁶ For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.

⁸ In God will we boast all the day, and we will praise thy name for ever. Selah.

³ Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

⁷⁴ May those who fear you see me and be glad, for I have hoped in your word.

⁷ Release me from prison so that I may praise your name. Righteous people will surround me because you are good to me.

²⁵ In the LORD all the seed of Israel will be justified and will glory.

²⁴ but let him who boasts boast in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight," says the LORD.

³¹ therefore, as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord."

¹⁷ But, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

¹⁵ It is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinnersof whom I am the foremost. ¹⁶ But for this very reason I was shown mercy, so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His perfect patience, as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
