³ At the same time praying also for us, that God would open to us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

¹¹ He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

²⁷ And when they had come, and had assembled the church, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and that he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

³⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; ³¹ That I may be delivered from them in Judea who do not believe; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints; ³² That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

⁹ For a great door and effectual is opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

¹² Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ, and a door was opened to me by the Lord,

⁷ Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

¹³ So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; ¹⁴ And many of the brethren in the Lord, becoming confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

¹⁹ For I know that this will turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

²⁶ Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages, and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

² That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; ³ In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

²⁵ Brethren, pray for us.

¹ Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you; ² And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

¹⁶ The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

⁹ In which I suffer trouble, as an evil-doer, even to bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

²² But at the same time prepare me also a lodging; for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given to you.
