⁴ And all drank the same spiritual drink (for they drank out of the spiritual rock which followed them; and that rock was Christ) Yet, with the most of them, God was not well-pleased;

³⁸ The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom, but the darnel are the children of the wicked one. ³⁹ The enemy that sowed them is the devil: the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the angels.

²⁶ And after they had eaten, Jesus took bread and blessed and brake and gave it to his disciples and said, Take, eat; this is my body. ²⁷ And he took the cup, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it. ²⁸ For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many, for the remission of sins.

¹⁷ but the body is of Christ.

¹ For the law having a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually, make the comers thereunto perfect.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, If thou hadst known the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

¹⁴ But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him, will never thirst; but the water that I shall give him, will be in him a fountain of water, springing up into everlasting life.

³⁷ On the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come to me and drink.

²⁴ took bread, And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat, this is my body, which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of me. ²⁵ In like manner also he took the cup after he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: do this as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

²⁵ For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem that now is, and is in bondage with her children.

¹⁷ And let him that thirsteth, come: let him that willeth, take the water of life freely.
