²¹ Then Peter went down to the men; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: What would ye have? or What [is] the cause wherefore ye are come?

⁵¹ And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, O Lord, Rabbi, that I might receive my sight.

³⁸ Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith onto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, which is to say, being interpreted, Master, where dwellest thou? ³⁹ He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

⁴ But Jesus knowing all things that were coming upon him, went forth and saith unto them, Whom seek ye? ⁵ They answered him and said, Jesus of Nazareth. He saith unto them, I am [he]. And Judas also who betrayed him, stood with them. ⁶ When therefore he had said unto them, I am [he], they went away backward, and fell to the ground. ⁷ Again therefore he asked them saying, Whom seek ye? but they said again, Jesus of Nazareth. ⁸ Jesus answered them, I have told you that I am [he]. If therefore ye seek me, let these go away.

²⁹ Therefore came I without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for by you: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me.
