³ And when they had all fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent [them] away.

⁶ These were set also before the apostles: who when they had prayed, laid [their] hands on them.

¹⁵ Who when they were come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Ghost. ¹⁶ For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. ¹⁷ Then laid they hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

¹⁷ And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord hath sent me, Jesus that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

² As they ministred to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work whereunto I have called them.

²³ And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

²⁶ And thence sailed to Antioch, fromwhence they had been recommended to the grace of God, for the work which they fulfilled.

⁴⁰ And Paul took Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of the Lord.

¹⁵ And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

¹⁴ Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by Prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

²² Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other mens sins: keep thy self pure.

⁶ Wherefore I put thee in remembrance, that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

² And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁶ Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey worthily of God, thou shalt do well:

⁸ We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellow-helpers to the church.
