⁶⁰ And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, saying, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. And Saul was consenting unto his death.

⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that do spitefully use and persecute you:

⁵² And the graves were opened, and many bodies of saints which slept were raised,

²⁸ Bless them that curse you, pray for them which despitefully use you.

³⁰ For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

⁶ Afterward he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once: of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

¹⁸ Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ, are perished.

²⁰ But now is Christ risen from the dead, the first-fruits of them that are fallen asleep.

⁵¹ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall all arise again, but we shall not all be changed,

¹³ But we would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. ¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died, and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him.

¹⁰ Who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
