¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

²³ And in hades he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus resting in his bosom.

⁹ Add when he had spoken these things, a cloud received him, and he was taken out of their sight.

³⁴ Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather that is risen again; who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation, or distress, persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. ³⁷ Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors on account of him that loved us.

⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickned us together with Christ, by whose grace ye are saved. ⁶ And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus.

¹⁷ Then we which are alive, and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

²¹ To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

¹ After this I looked, and behold, a door opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard, as it were of a trumpet talking with me; saying, Come up hither, and I will shew thee the things which must be hereafter.

⁵ And she brought forth a man-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne.
