² But the court which is without the temple cast out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they measure forty and two months.

⁵ Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

¹³ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be troden underfoot of men.

⁵³ And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword; and shall be led away captive unto all nations; and Jerusalem shall be troden down of the Gentiles; until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for it will not be except there come an apostacy first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition: ⁴ Who opposeth and exateth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. ⁵ Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? ⁶ And now ye know what with holdeth, that he might be revealed in his time. ⁷ For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth, [will do it], until he be taken out of the way. ⁸ And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: ⁹ Whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and wonders of a lie. ¹⁰ And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness, in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth of Christ, that they might be saved. ¹¹ For this cause God sends them strong delusion, that they shall believe a lie: ¹² That they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

¹ Now the Spirit speaketh expresly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, the doctrines of dæmons; ² Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with an hot iron; ³ Forbidding to marry, [commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them who believe and know his truth.

¹ This know also, that in the last days perilous times will come. ² For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ Without natural affection, truce breakers, false-accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ⁴ Treacherous, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God; ⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away: ⁶ For of this sort are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

²⁹ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath troden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

³ And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred threescore days clothed in sackcloth.

¹¹ And after three days and an half, the Spirit of life from God entred into them: and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them who few them.

⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place there prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred threescore days.

¹ And he stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a wild beast rise up out of the sea, having seven horns, and ten heads, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. ² And the wild beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as those of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and gave him great authority. ³ And one of his heads, was, as it were, wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondred after the wild beast. ⁴ And they worshipped the dragon, because he gave power unto the wild beast: and they worshipped the wild beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the wild beast?and who is able to make war with him? ⁵ And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things, and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. ⁷ And power was given him over every tribe and people, and tongue, and nation. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose name is [not] written in the book of life of the slain Lamb, from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If any man have an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ If any one [leadeth] into captivity, he goeth into captivity: he that killeth with the sword, must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ And I beheld another wild beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. ¹² And he exerciseth all the power of the first wild beast before him, and causeth the earth, and them who dwell therein, to worship the first wild beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he doeth great wonders, sothat he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth, in the fight of men, ¹⁴ And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth, by those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the wild beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the wild beast who had the wound by a sword, and did live. ¹⁵ And he had power to give life unto the image of the wild beast, that the image of the wild beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the wild beast, should be killed. ¹⁶ And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, that he may give them a mark in their right hand, or in the forehead: ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666.

² And I saw the holy new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, from God: prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

¹⁹ And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God shall take away his part out of the tree of life, and out of the holy city, [and] the things which are written in this book.
