² "You know that in two days the Passover Feast will take place, and the Son of Man will be turned over to be crucified."

¹⁷ On the first day of the Passover Feast the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Where do you want us to get the Passover supper ready for you to eat?"

²⁶ While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf and blessed it; then He broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take this and eat it; this is my body." ²⁷ He also took the cup of wine and gave thanks; then He gave it to them, saying, "All of you drink some of it, ²⁸ for this is my blood which ratifies the covenant, the blood which is to be poured out for many for the forgiveness of their sins.

³⁴ Jesus said to him, "I solemnly say to you, this very night, before a cock crows, you will disown me three times."

²⁰ and teach them to practice all the commands that I have given you. And I myself will surely be with you all the days, down to the very close of an age."

²² While they were eating, He took a loaf and blessed it and broke it in pieces and gave it to them, saying, "Take this; it is my body." ²³ He also took the cup of wine and gave thanks and gave it to them, and they all drank some of it. ²⁴ Then He said to them, "This is my blood which ratifies the covenant, the blood which is to be poured out for many.

¹⁹ Then He took a loaf, gave thanks, and broke it in pieces, and gave it to them, and said, "This is my body which is to be given for you. Do this as a memorial to me." ²⁰ In like manner after supper He took a cup of wine, and said, "This cup of wine is the new covenant to be ratified by my blood, which is to be poured out for you.

⁷ On the first day of the week when we had met to break bread, Paul addressed them, since he was leaving the next day, and prolonged his speech till midnight.

Do this in memory of me." ²⁵ In the same way, after supper, He took the cup of wine, saying, "This cup is the new covenant ratified by my blood. Whenever you drink it, do so in memory of me."

³ For I passed on to you, among the primary principles of the good news, what I had received, that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures,

¹ Paul, an apostle sent not from men or by any man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead --

¹¹ For I tell you, brothers, the good news which was preached by me is not a human message, ¹² for I did not get it from any man; I was not taught it, but I got it through a revelation given by Jesus Christ.

² For you are aware of the instructions which we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
