² that ye no longer live the rest of your time in the flesh to the desires of men, but to the will of God.

²¹ "Not every one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that does the will of My Father in Heaven.

⁵⁰ For whosoever does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother."

³¹ Which of the two did the will of the father?" They say, "The last." Jesus saith to them, "Verily I say to you that the tax-collectors and the harlots are going into the Kingdom of God before you.

²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,

¹³ who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

¹⁷ If any one wills to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.

² It could not be! How shall we, who died to sin, live any longer therein?

¹¹ Even so reckon ye also yourselves dead, indeed, to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

⁴ Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that ye might be joined to another—to Him Who was raised from the dead—that we might bear fruit to God.

² and he not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

⁷ For no one of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

¹⁵ and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to Him Who died for them, and rose again.

¹⁹ For I through law died to law, that I might live to God. ²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; and no longer am I living, but Christ is living in me; and, in so far as I am now living in flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

³ among whom we also all once lived in the desires of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest;

¹⁷ This, therefore, I say, and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind,

²² that ye put off, as to your former manner of life, the old man, who is corrupt according to the desires of deceit; ²³ and that ye be renewed in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and put on the new man, who after God was created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

⁷ Do not, therefore, become partakers with them; ⁸ for ye were once darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord; walk as children of light

¹⁷ For this reason, be not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

⁶ not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul,

⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, cease not praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

⁷ in which things ye also formerly walked, when ye were living in these things. ⁸ But now do ye also put away all these; anger, wrath, malice, reviling, shameful talk out of your mouth.

¹² Epaphras, who is from among you, salutes you, a servant of Christ Jesus, always striving in your behalf in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

¹⁸ In everything give thanks; for this is God's will in Christ Jesus respecting you.

³ For we also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving manifold desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. ⁴ But, when the kindness and the benevolence of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy, He saved us through a washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit; ⁶ Whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior; ⁷ that having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ⁸ Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I will that you affirm confidently, that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

²¹ make you perfect in every good thing to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be the glory forever. Amen.

¹⁸ Having willed it, He brought us forth with a word of truth, that we might be a certain first-fruit of His creatures.

¹⁴ as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance;

¹ Having, therefore, put away all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisy, and envies, and all evil speakings,

¹⁴ or to governors, as sent through him for the punishment of evil-doers, and for praise to those who do well; ¹⁵ for so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men;

¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and the desire thereof; but be that does the will of God abides forever.
