³⁰ And grieve not the holy Spirit of God whereby ye are sealed to the day of redemption.

⁵ And when He had looked round upon them with indignation, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He saith to the man, Stretch out thine hand: and he stretched it out, and his hand was made as sound as the other.

²⁸ But when these things begin to come to pass, look upwards and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.

⁵¹ Ye stiff-necked, and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.

¹¹ And if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwelleth in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead, will also restore your mortal bodies to life, by his Spirit that now dwelleth in you.

⁵⁴ And when this corruptible shall be clothed with incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."

¹³ In whom ye also trusted, when ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also when ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴ who is the pledge of our inheritance, till the redemption of his purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.

¹⁹ Quench not the Spirit.

¹⁰ wherefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, They are always erring in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

¹⁷ But with whom was He provoked forty years? was it not with those that sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
