²¹ Jesus therefore said unto them again, "I am going away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: where I go ye cannot come."

³⁹ for I tell you, ye shall not see me after this, till ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.

²³ Then if any shall say to you, Behold here is the Messiah, or there; believe it not: ²⁴ for there shall rise up false Christs, and false prophets, who shall shew great signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

⁴¹ Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

³⁴ Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am to be, ye cannot come.

²⁴ Therefore I said unto you, that ye shall die in your sins; for if ye believe not that I am the Messiah, ye shall die in your sins.

³³ This He said, signifying what death He should die.

³⁵ Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while the light is to be with you; walk while ye have the light, least darkness overtake you; for he that walketh in the dark knoweth not whither he goeth.

³³ Little children, I am to be with you but a little while longer. Ye will wish for me, and as I said to the Jews, "Whither I go ye cannot come", so I now tell you.

¹⁷ and if Christ be not risen, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. ¹⁸ Then they also that sleep in Christ, are perished.
