¹ And after these things, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind might not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.

²⁶ Why are ye so frighted, O ye of little faith? Then He rose up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. ²⁷ And the men wondered, saying, What an amazing person is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!

³¹ and He will send forth his messengers with a trumpet of a loud voice, and they shall gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

²⁷ And He will then send forth his messengers, and will gather his elect together from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.

¹ After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as of a trumpet speaking to me; and it said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must come to pass hereafter. ² And immmediately I was in the Spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne. ³ And He that sat upon it, was to look at like a jasper and a sardine stone, and there was a rainbow round the throne like the appearance of an emerald. ⁴ And around the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw twenty four elders sitting, clothed in white garments; and they had upon their heads crowns of gold. ⁵ And out of the throne came lightnings, and thunders, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne; which are the seven spirits of God. ⁶ And before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and the circle of it, were four animate beings full of eyes before and behind.

⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four animals saying, One measure of wheat for a denary, and but three measures of barley for a denary: but see that thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

³ saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.

⁴ And order was given them, not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree; but only the men, who had not the seal of God on their foreheads.

¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet, Let loose the four angels, that are bound by the great river Euphrates.
