⁷ Forsothe a iust man that goith in his simplenesse, schal leeue blessid sones aftir hym.

⁷ and Y schal make my couenaunt bitwixe me and thee, and bitwixe thi seed after thee, in her generaciouns, bi euerlastynge bond of pees, that Y be thi God, and of thi seed after thee;

² Y seide to the Lord, Thou art my God, for thou hast no nede of my goodis.

³⁹ For the biheest is to you, and to youre sones, and to alle that ben fer, which euer oure Lord God hath clepid.

¹² For oure glorie is this, the witnessyng of oure conscience, that in symplenesse and clennesse of God, and not in fleischli wisdom, but in the grace of God, we lyueden in this world, but more plenteuousli to you.
