ABU⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁷ And their word will eat as does a canker; of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; ¹⁸ who erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and overturn the faith of some. ¹⁹ Nevertheless, God's firm foundation stands, having this seal: The Lord knew those who are his; and, Let every one that names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.
