18 “Ἰδοὺ (Behold), ἀναβαίνομεν (we go up) εἰς (to) Ἱεροσόλυμα (Jerusalem), καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) παραδοθήσεται (will be betrayed) τοῖς (to the) ἀρχιερεῦσιν (chief priests) καὶ (and) γραμματεῦσιν (scribes), καὶ (and) κατακρινοῦσιν (they will condemn) αὐτὸν (Him) 〈εἰς〉 (to) θανάτῳ* (death),
19 καὶ (and) παραδώσουσιν (they will betray) αὐτὸν (Him) τοῖς (the) ἔθνεσιν (Gentiles) εἰς (unto), τὸ (-) ἐμπαῖξαι (to mock) καὶ (and) μαστιγῶσαι (to flog) καὶ (and) σταυρῶσαι (to crucify); καὶ (and) τῇ (the) τρίτῃ (third) ἡμέρᾳ (day) ἐγερθήσεται (He will rise again).”
