8 By this the Holy Spirit was signifying that the way into the holy places has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having a standing,
9 which is a symbol for the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, not being able to make perfect in regard to conscience of the one worshiping,
10 consisting only in foods and drinks and various washings—ordinances of the flesh being imposed until the time of reformation.
11 But Christ, having appeared as high priest of the good things having come, by the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation,
12 nor by blood of goats and calves, but through the own blood, He entered once for all into the holy places, having obtained eternal redemption.
