SCRIBINGS OF THE HEART
Begin we again to commend ourselves? Unless, as some, need we epistles of commendation to you? Or commendation from you? 2 You are our epistle inscribed in our hearts, known and read of all humanity: 3 manifested to be the epistle of Messiah ministered by us; inscribed, not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living Elohim; not in slabs of stone, but in fleshy slabs of the heart. 4 And we have such confidence through the Messiah toward Elohim: 5 not that we are adequate of ourselves to reckon somewhat as of ourselves; but our adequacy is of Elohim 6 who also enables us - ministers of the new covenant; not of scribing but of spirit: for the scribing slaughters, and the spirit enlivens. 7 And if the ministry of death - inscribings engraved in stones became in glory - so that the sons of Yisra El could not stare to the face of Mosheh for the glory of his face - which inscribings were being inactivated: 8 how indeed not rather the ministry of the spirit be in glory? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation be in glory, much more rather the ministry of justness superabounds in glory. 10 For even that which was glorified has no glory in this part because of the glory that excels: 11 for if that which is inactivated was through glory, much more that which abides be in glory. 12
THE INACTIVATED COVENANT
So seeing that we have such hope we use much boldness of speech: 13 and not exactly as Mosheh - who put a veil over his face so the sons of Yisra El could not stare to the completion/shalom of what is inactivated: 14 but their comprehensions petrified: for until this day the same abides - not unveiled in the reading of the old covenant; which is inactivated in Messiah. 15 But even to this day when Mosheh is read, the veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless whenever they turn to Yah Veh, the veil is taken away. Exodus 34:34 17 And Adonay is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of Yah Veh is there is liberty. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, reflecting the glory Yah Veh, are metamorphosed into the same icon from glory to glory exactly as by the Spirit of Yah Veh.
