Isaiah 11

ECB(i) 1
THE BRANCH
And a Rod comes from the stump of Yishay and a Branch from his roots bears fruit: {\cp2 cp Yesha Yah 11:10} 2 and the spirit of Yah Veh rests upon him - the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of the awe of Yah Veh; 3 and scents him in the awe of Yah Veh: and he neither judges after the sight of his eyes, nor reproves after the hearing of his ears: 4 and with justness he judges the poor, and reproves with straightness for the humble of the earth: and he smites the earth with the scion of his mouth and with the spirit of his lips he executes the wicked: 5 and justness is the girdle of his loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of his loins. 6 And the wolf sojourns with the lamb and the leopard crouches with the kid - the calf and the whelp and the fatling together; and a little lad drives them: 7 and the heifer and the bear graze - their children crouch together: and the lion eats straw as the ox 8 and the suckling strokes on the hole of the asp, and the weaned spreads his hand on the hole of hisser. 9 They neither vilify nor ruin in all my holy mountain: for the earth fills with the knowledge of Yah Veh, as waters cover the sea. 10 And in that day, a Root of Yishay stands for an ensign of the people; to him the goyim seek: and his rest becomes honorable. cp Yesha Yah 11:1 11
THE SURVIVORS RESTORED
And so be it, in that day, Adonay adds to set his hand secondly to chattel the survivors of his people who survive - from Ashshur and from Misrayim and from Pathros and from Kush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea: 12 and he lifts an ensign for the goyim and gathers the overthrown of Yisra El and gathers the scattered of Yah Hudah from the four wings of the earth: 13 and turns aside the envy of Ephrayim, and cuts off the tribulators of Yah Hudah: neither Ephrayim envies Yah Hudah, nor Yah Hudah tribulates Ephrayim: 14 and they fly seaward on the shoulders of the Peleshethiym; together they plunder the sons of the east: Edom and Moab spread their hand and the sons of Ammon hearken to them. 15 And Yah Veh devotes the tongue of the Misrayim sea; and with the strength of his wind/spirit he shakes his hand over the river and smites it in the seven wadies; and has men tread it in shoes. 16 And so be it, a highway for the survivors of his people of Ashshur who survive - as it became to Yisra El in the day he ascended from the land of Misrayim.
