Isaiah 11

  1 H3318 And there shall come forth [H8804]   H2415 a rod H1503 out of the stem H3448 of Jesse H5342 , and a Branch H6509 shall grow [H8799]   H8328 out of his roots:
  2 H7307 And the spirit H3068 of the LORD H5117 shall rest [H8804]   H7307 upon him, the spirit H2451 of wisdom H998 and understanding H7307 , the spirit H6098 of counsel H1369 and might H7307 , the spirit H1847 of knowledge H3374 and of the fear H3068 of the LORD;
  3 H7306 And shall make him of quick understanding [H8687]   H3374 in the fear H3068 of the LORD H8199 : and he shall not judge [H8799]   H4758 after the sight H5869 of his eyes H3198 , neither reprove [H8686]   H4926 after the hearing H241 of his ears:
  4 H6664 But with righteousness H8199 shall he judge [H8804]   H1800 the poor H3198 , and reprove [H8689]   H4334 with equity H6035 for the meek H776 of the earth H5221 : and he shall smite [H8689]   H776 the earth H7626 with the rod H6310 of his mouth H7307 , and with the breath H8193 of his lips H4191 shall he slay [H8686]   H7563 the wicked.
  5 H6664 And righteousness H232 shall be the girdle H4975 of his loins H530 , and faithfulness H232 the girdle H2504 of his reins.

  8 H3243 And the sucking child [H8802]   H8173 shall play [H8773]   H2352 on the hole H6620 of the asp H1580 , and the weaned child [H8803]   H1911 shall put [H8804]   H3027 his hand H6848 on the cockatrice H3975 ' den.

  10 H3117 And in that day H8328 there shall be a root H3448 of Jesse H5975 , which shall stand [H8802]   H5251 for an ensign H5971 of the people H1471 ; to it shall the Gentiles H1875 seek [H8799]   H4496 : and his rest H3519 shall be glorious.
  11 H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day H136 , that the Lord H3254 shall set H3027 his hand H3254 again [H8686]   H8145 the second time H7069 to recover [H8800]   H7605 the remnant H5971 of his people H7604 , which shall be left [H8735]   H804 , from Assyria H4714 , and from Egypt H6624 , and from Pathros H3568 , and from Cush H5867 , and from Elam H8152 , and from Shinar H2574 , and from Hamath H339 , and from the islands H3220 of the sea.
  12 H5375 And he shall set up [H8804]   H5251 an ensign H1471 for the nations H622 , and shall assemble [H8804]   H1760 the outcasts [H8737]   H3478 of Israel H6908 , and gather together [H8762]   H5310 the dispersed [H8803]   H3063 of Judah H702 from the four H3671 corners H776 of the earth.
  13 H7068 The envy H669 also of Ephraim H5493 shall depart [H8804]   H6887 , and the adversaries [H8802]   H3063 of Judah H3772 shall be cut off [H8735]   H669 : Ephraim H7065 shall not envy [H8762]   H3063 Judah H3063 , and Judah H6887 shall not vex [H8799]   H669 Ephraim.
  14 H5774 But they shall fly [H8804]   H3802 upon the shoulders H6430 of the Philistines H3220 toward the west H962 ; they shall spoil [H8799]   H1121 them H6924 of the east H3162 together H4916 : they shall lay H3027 their hand H123 upon Edom H4124 and Moab H1121 ; and the children H5983 of Ammon H4928 shall obey them.
  15 H3068 And the LORD H2763 shall utterly destroy [H8689]   H3956 the tongue H4714 of the Egyptian H3220 sea H5868 ; and with his mighty H7307 wind H5130 shall he shake [H8689]   H3027 his hand H5104 over the river H5221 , and shall smite [H8689]   H7651 it in the seven H5158 streams H1869 , and make men go over [H8689]   H5275 dryshod.
  16 H4546 And there shall be an highway H7605 for the remnant H5971 of his people H834 , which H7604 shall be left [H8735]   H804 , from Assyria H3478 ; like as it was to Israel H3117 in the day H5927 that he came up [H8800]   H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt.
