THE EXALTMENT OF SPREAD HANDS
O Yah Veh, you my Elohim; I exalt you: I spread hands to your name: for you worked marvels; your counsels of the distant past are trustworthiness and amen. 2 For of a city, you set a heap; of a fortified city, a ruin; a citadel of strangers, no city - not built eternally. 3 So a strong people honors you the city of the tyrant goyim fears you: 4 for you are a stronghold to the poor; a strength to the needy in his tribulation; a refuge from the flood; a shadow from the parchedness when the wind of the tyrants is as a flood against the wall. 5 You subdue the uproar of strangers as the parchedness in a parch; the heat with the shadow of a thick cloud: the branch of the tyrants answer. 6 And in this mountain Yah Veh Sabaoth works to all people a banquet of oil, a banquet of dregs, of marrowed oil, of filtered dregs. 7 And in this mountain he swallows the face of the veil veiled over all people, and the veil spread over all goyim. 8 He swallows death in perpetuity; and Adonay Yah Veh wipes away tears from off all faces; and turns aside the rebuke of his people from off all the earth - for Yah Veh has worded. 9 And in that day, it is said, Behold, this our Elohim; we awaited him and he saves us: this is Yah Veh; we awaited him; we twirl and cheer in his salvation. 10 For in this mountain the hand of Yah Veh rests; and Moab is threshed under him even as straw is threshed in the water of the dunghill: 11 and he spreads his hands in their midst as the swimmer spreading to swim: and he abases their pomp together with the lurkings of their hands. 12 And he prostrates the fortress of the secure loft of your walls lower - touches to the earth - to the dust.
