Isaiah 53:7-10 Of him they exact, and him they abase; yet he opens not his mouth: brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as an ewe at the face of her shearers: he is mute, and opens not his mouth:

ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ Of him they exact, and him they abase; yet he opens not his mouth: brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as an ewe at the face of her shearers: he is mute, and opens not his mouth: ⁸ taken by restraint and by judgment: and who meditates his generation? For he is cut off from the land of the living: - plagued for the rebellion of my people. ⁹ And he gives his tomb with the wicked and with the rich in his death; because he neither worked violence nor is deceit in his mouth. ¹⁰ Yet Yah Veh delights to crush him; he strokes him: when you set his soul for the guilt, he sees his seed; he prolongs his days: and the delight of Yah Veh prospers in his hand.
