YERU SHALEM CAPTURED
In the ninth year of Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah in the tenth month, Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel and all his valiant come against Yeru Shalem and besiege it: 2 and in the eleventh year of Sidqi Yah, in the fourth month, the ninth of the month, the city is split: 3 and all the governors of the sovereign of Babel come in and sit in the middle portal - Nergal Shareser, Samgar Nebo, Sarsechim the rabbi eunuch, Nergal Shareser the rabbi magi, and all the survivors of the governors of the sovereign of Babel. 4 And so be it, Sidqi Yah the sovereign of Yah Hudah and all the men of war see them, and they flee, and go from the city by night by the way of the garden of the sovereign by the portal between the two walls: and he goes the way of the plain. 5 And the valiant of the Kesediym pursue them and overtake Sidqi Yah in the plains of Yericho: and they take him and ascend him to Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel to Riblah in the land of Hamath - where he words judgment on him. 6 And the sovereign of Babel slaughters the sons of Sidqi Yah in Riblah in front of his eyes: yes, the sovereign of Babel slaughters all the nobles of Yah Hudah: 7 and he blinds the eyes of Sidqi Yah and binds him with coppers to carry him to Babel. 8 And the Kesediym burn the house of the sovereign and the houses of the people with fire, and break down the walls of Yeru Shalem: 9 and Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer exiles the remnant of the people who survive in the city, and those who fell - who fell to him, with the remnant of the people who survive to Babel: 10 and of the poor of the people who have naught Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer has them survive in the land of Yah Hudah; and gives them vineyards and plowed fields that same day. 11
YIRME YAH SPARED
And Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel misvahs concerning Yirme Yah by the hand of Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer, saying, 12 Take him, and set your eyes to him; and work him no evil: and work to him as he words to you. 13 And Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer sends; and Nebu Shazban the rabbi eunuch, and Nergal Shareser the rabbi magi, and all the rabbis of the sovereign of Babel; 14 and they send, and take Yirme Yah from the court of the target area and give him to Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan to carry him home: and he settles among the people. 15 And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah, who is restrained in the court of the guard area, saying, 16 Go and say to Ebed Melech the Kushiy, saying, Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: Behold, I bring my words on this city for evil and not for good; to be at your face in that day: 17 and I rescue you in that day - an oracle of Yah Veh and give you not into the hand of the men you fear to face. 18 In rescuing, I rescue you; and you fall not by the sword, and your soul becomes for a spoil to you: because you confided in me - an oracle of Yah Veh.
