If they persecute me, they also persecute you; if they guard my word, they guard yours also. ²¹ But they do all these to you for sake of my name, because they know not him who sent me. ²² If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin: but now they have no pretext for their sin. ²³ Whoever hates me hates my Father also. ²⁴ If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
