For the soul of the flesh is in the blood: and I give it to you on the sacrifice altar to kapar/atone for your souls: for the blood kapars/atones for the soul. 12 So I say to the sons of Yisra El, that neither any soul of you eats blood, nor any sojourner sojourning among you eats blood:
