To you I call, O Yah Veh my rock; hush not to me: if you hush to me I become as they who descend into the well. ² Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to you - when I lift my hands toward the pulpit of your holies. ³ Draw me not away with the wicked - with the doers of mischief; who word shalom to their friends but evil is in their hearts. ⁴ Give them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their exploits; give them according to the work of their hands; return to them as they deal. ⁵ For they neither discern the deeds of Yah Veh nor the work of his hands; he demolishes them and builds them not. ⁶ Blessed be Yah Veh; for he hears the voice of my supplications. ⁷ Yah Veh is my strength and my buckler; my heart confides in him and I am helped: and my heart jumps for joy; and with my song I spread hands to him. ⁸ Yah Veh is their strength and he is the stronghold of salvations of his anointed. ⁹ Save your people and bless your inheritance; befriend them also and lift them eternally.
