He said to them, "I am he." Judas who betrayed him was standing among them. ⁶ When Jesus said to them, "I am he," they drew back and fell to the ground. ⁷ Then he asked them again, "Who is it you are looking for?" They said, "Jesus of Nazareth." ⁸ Jesus answered, "I have told you that I am he, so if you are looking for me, let these men go."
