KJV_Strongs(i)
  6 G2532 And G2192 having [G5723]   G1722 in G2092 a readiness G1556 to revenge [G5658]   G3956 all G3876 disobedience G3752 , when G5216 your G5218 obedience G4137 is fulfilled [G5686]  .
  7 G991 Do ye look on [G5719]   G2596 things after G4383 the outward appearance G1536 ? If any man G3982 trust [G5754]   G1438 to himself G1511 that he is [G5750]   G5547 Christ's G3049 , let him G575 of G1438 himself G3049 think [G5737]   G5124 this G3825 again G3754 , that G2531 , as G846 he G5547 is Christ's G2532 , even G3779 so G2249 are we G5547 Christ's.
  8 G1063 For G2532   G1437 though G5037   G2744 I should boast [G5667]   G5100 somewhat G4055 more G4012 of G2257 our G1849 authority G3739 , which G2962 the Lord G1325 hath given [G5656]   G2254 us G1519 for G3619 edification G2532 , and G3756 not G1519 for G5216 your G2506 destruction G153 , I should G3756 not G153 be ashamed [G5701]  :
  9 G3363 That G1380 I may G3363 not G1380 seem [G5661]   G5613 as G302 if G1629 I would terrify [G5721]   G5209 you G1223 by G1992 letters.
  10 G3754 For G1992 his letters G3303   G5346 , say they [G5748]   G926 , are weighty G2532 and G2478 powerful G1161 ; but G4983 his bodily G3952 presence G772 is weak G2532 , and G3056 his speech G1848 contemptible [G5772]  .
  11 G3049 Let G5108 such an one G3049 think [G5737]   G5124 this G3754 , that G3634 , such as G2070 we are [G5748]   G3056 in word G1223 by G1992 letters G548 when we are absent [G5752]   G5108 , such G2532 will we be also G2041 in deed G3918 when we are present [G5752]  .
ERV(i) 6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be fulfilled. 7 Ye look at the things that are before your face. If any man trusteth in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ’s, so also are we. 8 For though I should glory somewhat abundantly concerning our authority (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down), I shall not be put to shame: 9 that I may not seem as if I would terrify you by my letters. 10 For, His letters, they say, are weighty and strong; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech of no account. 11 Let such a one reckon this, that, what we are in word by letters when we are absent, such [are we] also in deed when we are present.
