Ezekiel 47:1-12 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house ; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward : for the forefront of the house stood toward the east , and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house , at the south side of the altar.

2 H3318 Then brought he me out [H8686] H1870 of the way H8179 of the gate H6828 northward H5437 , and led me about [H8686] H1870 the way H2351 without unto the utter H8179 gate H1870 by the way H6437 that looketh [H8802] H6921 eastward H6379 ; and, behold, there ran out [H8764] H4325 waters H3233 on the right H3802 side.

3 H376 And when the man H6957 that had the line H3027 in his hand H3318 went forth [H8800] H6921 eastward H4058 , he measured [H8799] H505 a thousand H520 cubits H5674 , and he brought me through [H8686] H4325 the waters H4325 ; the waters H657 were to the ankles.

4 H4058 Again he measured [H8799] H505 a thousand H5674 , and brought me through [H8686] H4325 the waters H4325 ; the waters H1290 were to the knees H4058 . Again he measured [H8799] H505 a thousand H5674 , and brought me through [H8686] H4325 ; the waters H4975 were to the loins.

5 H4058 Afterward he measured [H8799] H505 a thousand H5158 ; and it was a river H3201 that I could [H8799] H5674 not pass over [H8800] H4325 : for the waters H1342 were risen [H8804] H4325 , waters H7813 to swim in H5158 , a river H5674 that could not be passed over [H8735] .

6 H559 And he said [H8799] H1121 unto me, Son H120 of man H7200 , hast thou seen [H8804] H3212 this ? Then he brought [H8686] H7725 me, and caused me to return [H8686] H8193 to the brink H5158 of the river.

7 H7725 Now when I had returned [H8800] H8193 , behold, at the bank H5158 of the river H3966 were very H7227 many H6086 trees on the one side and on the other.

8 H559 Then said [H8799] H4325 he unto me, These waters H3318 issue out [H8802] H6930 toward the east H1552 country H3381 , and go down [H8804] H6160 into the desert H935 , and go [H8804] H3220 into the sea H3318 : which being brought forth [H8716] H3220 into the sea H4325 , the waters H7495 shall be healed [H8738] .

9 H5315 And it shall come to pass, that every thing H2416 that liveth H8317 , which moveth [H8799] H5158 , whithersoever the rivers H935 shall come [H8799] H2421 , shall live [H8799] H3966 : and there shall be a very H7227 great H1710 multitude of fish H4325 , because these waters H935 shall come [H8804] H7495 thither: for they shall be healed [H8735] H2425 ; and every thing shall live [H8804] H5158 whither the river H935 cometh [H8799] .

10 H1728 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers H5975 shall stand [H8804] [H8675] H5975 [H8799] H5872 upon it from Engedi H5882 even unto Eneglaim H4894 ; they shall be a place to spread forth H2764 nets H1710 ; their fish H4327 shall be according to their kinds H1710 , as the fish H1419 of the great H3220 sea H3966 , exceeding H7227 many.

11 H1207 But the miry places H1360 thereof and the marishes H7495 thereof shall not be healed [H8735] H5414 ; they shall be given [H8738] H4417 to salt.

12 H5158 And by the river H8193 upon the bank H5927 thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow [H8799] H6086 all trees H3978 for meat H5929 , whose leaf H5034 shall not fade [H8799] H6529 , neither shall the fruit H8552 thereof be consumed [H8799] H1069 : it shall bring forth new fruit [H8762] H2320 according to his months H4325 , because their waters H3318 they issued out [H8802] H4720 of the sanctuary H6529 : and the fruit H3978 thereof shall be for meat H5929 , and the leaf H8644 thereof for medicine.

Again he measured a thousand, and caused me to pass through [the waters], waters that were to the loins. ⁵ Afterward he measured a thousand; [and it was] a river that I could not pass through: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed through. ⁶ And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen [this]? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river. ⁷ Now when I had returned, behold, upon the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. ⁸ Then said he unto me, These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah: and they shall go toward the sea; into the sea [shall the waters go] which were made to issue forth; and the waters shall be healed. ⁹ And it shall come to pass, that every living creature which swarmeth, in every place whither the rivers come, shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish: for these waters are come thither, and [the waters of the sea] shall be healed, and every thing shall live whithersoever the river cometh. ¹⁰ And it shall come to pass, that fishers shall stand by it: from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many. ¹¹ But the miry places thereof, and the marishes thereof, shall not be healed; they shall be given up to salt. ¹² And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for meat, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall the fruit thereof fail: it shall bring forth new fruit every month, because the waters thereof issue out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for healing.
