Jeremiah 23:21-32

  21 H7971 I have not sent [H8804]   H5030 these prophets H7323 , yet they ran [H8804]   H1696 : I have not spoken [H8765]   H5012 to them, yet they prophesied [H8738]  .
  22 H5975 But if they had stood [H8804]   H5475 in my counsel H5971 , and had caused my people H8085 to hear [H8686]   H1697 my words H7725 , then they should have turned [H8686]   H7451 them from their evil H1870 way H7455 , and from the evil H4611 of their doings.
  23 H430 Am I a God H7138 at hand H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H430 , and not a God H7350 afar off?
  24 H376 Can any H5641 hide [H8735]   H4565 himself in secret places H7200 that I shall not see [H8799]   H5002 him? saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H4392 . Do not I fill H8064 heaven H776 and earth H5002 ? saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD.

  26 H3426 How long shall this be H3820 in the heart H5030 of the prophets H5012 that prophesy [H8737]   H8267 lies H5030 ? yea, they are prophets H8649 of the deceit H3820 of their own heart;

  28 H5030 The prophet H2472 that hath a dream H5608 , let him tell [H8762]   H2472 a dream H1697 ; and he that hath my word H1696 , let him speak [H8762]   H1697 my word H571 faithfully H8401 . What is the chaff H1250 to the wheat H5002 ? saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD.
  29 H1697 Is not my word H3541 like H784 as a fire H5002 ? saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H6360 ; and like a hammer H6327 that breaketh H5553 the rock H6327 in pieces [H8787]  ?
  30 H5030 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H1589 , that steal [H8764]   H1697 my words H376 every one H7453 from his neighbour.
  31 H5030 Behold, I am against the prophets H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H3947 , that use [H8802]   H3956 their tongues H5001 , and say [H8799]   H5002 , He saith [H8803]  .
  32 H5012 Behold, I am against them that prophesy [H8737]   H8267 false H2472 dreams H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H5608 , and do tell [H8762]   H5971 them, and cause my people H8582 to err [H8686]   H8267 by their lies H6350 , and by their lightness H7971 ; yet I sent [H8804]   H6680 them not, nor commanded [H8765]   H3276 them: therefore they shall not profit [H8686]   H5971 this people H3276 at all [H8687]   H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD.

  22 H518 ואם But if H5975 עמדו they had stood H5475 בסודי in my counsel, H8085 וישׁמעו to hear H1697 דברי my words, H853 את   H5971 עמי and had caused my people H7725 וישׁבום then they should have turned H1870 מדרכם way, H7451 הרע them from their evil H7455 ומרע and from the evil H4611 מעלליהם׃ of their doings.
  23 H430 האלהי a God H7138 מקרב at hand, H589 אני I H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3808 ולא and not H430 אלהי a God H7350 מרחק׃ afar off?
  24 H518 אם Can H5641 יסתר hide himself H376 אישׁ any H4565 במסתרים in secret places H589 ואני that I H3808 לא shall not H7200 אראנו see H5002 נאם him? saith H3068 יהוה the LORD. H3808 הלוא Do not H853 את   H8064 השׁמים heaven H853 ואת   H776 הארץ and earth? H589 אני I H4390 מלא fill H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  25 H8085 שׁמעתי I have heard H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H559 אמרו said, H5030 הנבאים the prophets H5012 הנבאים that prophesy H8034 בשׁמי in my name, H8267 שׁקר lies H559 לאמר saying, H2492 חלמתי I have dreamed, H2492 חלמתי׃ I have dreamed.
  26 H5704 עד   H4970 מתי   H3426 הישׁ shall be H3820 בלב in the heart H5030 הנבאים of the prophets H5012 נבאי that prophesy H8267 השׁקר lies? H5030 ונביאי yea, prophets H8649 תרמת of the deceit H3820 לבם׃ of their own heart;
  27 H2803 החשׁבים Which think H7911 להשׁכיח to forget H853 את   H5971 עמי to cause my people H8034 שׁמי my name H2472 בחלומתם by their dreams H834 אשׁר which H5608 יספרו they tell H376 אישׁ every man H7453 לרעהו to his neighbor, H834 כאשׁר as H7911 שׁכחו have forgotten H1 אבותם their fathers H853 את   H8034 שׁמי my name H1168 בבעל׃ for Baal.
  28 H5030 הנביא The prophet H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו that H2472 חלום hath a dream, H5608 יספר let him tell H2472 חלום a dream; H834 ואשׁר and he that H1697 דברי hath my word, H854 אתו and he that H1696 ידבר let him speak H1697 דברי my word H571 אמת faithfully. H4100 מה What H8401 לתבן the chaff H854 את to H1250 הבר the wheat? H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  29 H3808 הלוא not H3541 כה like H1697 דברי my word H784 כאשׁ as a fire? H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H6360 וכפטישׁ and like a hammer H6327 יפצץ breaketh H5553 סלע׃ the rock
  30 H3651 לכן Therefore, H2005 הנני   H5921 על I against H5030 הנבאים the prophets, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1589 מגנבי that steal H1697 דברי my words H376 אישׁ every one H853 מאת   H7453 רעהו׃ his neighbor.
  31 H2005 הנני   H5921 על I against H5030 הנביאם the prophets, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3947 הלקחים that use H3956 לשׁונם their tongues, H5001 וינאמו and say, H5002 נאם׃ He saith.
  32 H2005 הנני   H5921 על I against H5012 נבאי them that prophesy H2472 חלמות dreams, H8267 שׁקר false H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5608 ויספרום and do tell H8582 ויתעו to err H853 את   H5971 עמי them, and cause my people H8267 בשׁקריהם by their lies, H6350 ובפחזותם and by their lightness; H595 ואנכי yet I H3808 לא them not, H7971 שׁלחתים sent H3808 ולא nor H6680 צויתים commanded H3276 והועיל profit this people at all, H3808 לא them: therefore they shall not H3276 יועילו   H5971 לעם   H2088 הזה   H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
