Numbers 32:7-9 And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD hath given them?

8 H6213 Thus did [H8804] H1 your fathers H7971 , when I sent [H8800] H6947 them from Kadeshbarnea H7200 to see [H8800] H776 the land.

9 H5927 For when they went up [H8799] H5158 unto the valley H812 of Eshcol H7200 , and saw [H8799] H776 the land H5106 , they discouraged [H8686] H3820 the heart H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H935 , that they should not go [H8800] H776 into the land H3068 which the LORD H5414 had given [H8804] them.

9 H5927 ויעלו For when they went up H5704 עד unto H5158 נחל the valley H812 אשׁכול of Eshcol, H7200 ויראו and saw H853 את H776 הארץ the land, H5106 ויניאו they discouraged H853 את H3820 לב the heart H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1115 לבלתי that they should not H935 בא go H413 אל into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן had given H3068 להם יהוה׃ the LORD
