Ezekiel 35:1-15 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying ,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man H7760 , set [H8798] H6440 thy face H2022 against mount H8165 Seir H5012 , and prophesy [H8734] against it,

3 H559 And say [H8804] H559 unto it, Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2022 ; Behold, O mount H8165 Seir H5186 , I am against thee, and I will stretch out [H8804] H3027 mine hand H5414 against thee, and I will make [H8804] H4923 thee most H8077 desolate.

4 H7760 I will lay [H8799] H5892 thy cities H2723 waste H8077 , and thou shalt be desolate H3045 , and thou shalt know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.

5 H5769 Because thou hast had a perpetual H342 hatred H5064 , and hast shed [H8686] H1121 the blood of the children H3478 of Israel H3027 by the force H2719 of the sword H6256 in the time H343 of their calamity H6256 , in the time H5771 that their iniquity H7093 had an end:

6 H2416 Therefore, as I live H5002 , saith [H8803] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6213 , I will prepare [H8799] H1818 thee unto blood H1818 , and blood H7291 shall pursue [H8799] H518 thee: sith H8130 thou hast not hated [H8804] H1818 blood H1818 , even blood H7291 shall pursue [H8799] thee.

7 H5414 Thus will I make [H8804] H2022 mount H8165 Seir H8077 most H8077 desolate H3772 , and cut off [H8689] H5674 from it him that passeth out [H8802] H7725 and him that returneth [H8802] .

8 H4390 And I will fill [H8765] H2022 his mountains H2491 with his slain H1389 men : in thy hills H1516 , and in thy valleys H650 , and in all thy rivers H5307 , shall they fall [H8799] H2491 that are slain H2719 with the sword.

9 H5414 I will make [H8799] H5769 thee perpetual H8077 desolations H5892 , and thy cities H7725 shall not return [H8799] [H8675] H3427 [H8799] H3045 : and ye shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.

10 H559 Because thou hast said [H8800] H8147 , These two H1471 nations H8147 and these two H776 countries H3423 shall be mine, and we will possess [H8804] H3068 it; whereas the LORD was there:

11 H2416 Therefore, as I live H5002 , saith [H8803] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6213 , I will even do [H8804] H639 according to thine anger H7068 , and according to thine envy H6213 which thou hast used [H8804] H8135 out of thy hatred H3045 against them; and I will make myself known [H8738] H8199 among them, when I have judged [H8799] thee.

12 H3045 And thou shalt know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD H8085 , and that I have heard [H8804] H5007 all thy blasphemies H559 which thou hast spoken [H8804] H2022 against the mountains H3478 of Israel H559 , saying [H8800] H8074 , They are laid desolate [H8804] [H8675] H8077 H5414 , they are given [H8738] H402 us to consume.

13 H6310 Thus with your mouth H1431 ye have boasted [H8686] H6280 against me, and have multiplied [H8689] H1697 your words H8085 against me: I have heard [H8804] them .

14 H559 Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H776 ; When the whole earth H8055 rejoiceth [H8800] H6213 , I will make [H8799] H8077 thee desolate.

15 H8057 As thou didst rejoice H5159 at the inheritance H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H8074 , because it was desolate [H8804] H6213 , so will I do [H8799] H8077 unto thee: thou shalt be desolate H2022 , O mount H8165 Seir H123 , and all Idumea H3045 , even all of it: and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.
