39 And the children of Machir the son of Menasseh went to Gil’ad, and conquered it, and dispossessed the Emorites who were in it.
40 And Moses gave Gil’ad unto Machir the son of Menasseh; and he dwelt therein.
41 And Yair the son of Menasseh went and conquered the small towns thereof, and called them Chavoth-yair.
