And they rested on the sabbath day according to the commandment. ²⁴ ¹ And on the first of the sabbaths, while still very early, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. ² But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. ³ And going in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
