MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²² But flee the youthful lusts; pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who are calling upon the Lord out of a clean heart. ²³ But renounce foolish and non-instructive debates, knowing that they give-birth to quarrels. ²⁴ But it is essential for the Lord’s bondservant to not quarrel, but to be mild toward all, skilled in teaching, tolerating it when being mistreated, ²⁵ in meekness educating those who are placing themselves in opposition; if maybe God might give them repentance to come to the full knowledge of the truth, ²⁶ and they might sober up out of the snare of the devil, having been caught live by him to that man’s will.
