Deuteronomy 24:14-18

MLV(i) 14 You will not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is of your brothers, or of your travelers that are in your land within your gates. 15 You will give him his hire in his day, neither will the sun go down upon it, for he is poor and sets his heart upon it, lest he cry against you to Jehovah and it is sin to you.
16 The fathers will not be put to death for the sons, neither will the sons be put to death for the fathers. Every man will be put to death for his own sin.
17 You will not distort the justice due to the traveler, or to the fatherless, nor take the widow's garments to pledge, 18 but you will remember that you were a bondman in Egypt and Jehovah your God redeemed you from there. Therefore I command you to do this thing.
