MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ And whenever they completed their testimony, the beast which is ascending out of the abyss, will make war with them and overcome them and kill them. ⁸ And the corpse s of them lay in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. ⁹ And some from among the peoples and tribes and languages and nations look upon their corpses three and a half days and they will not allow their corpses to be laid in a tomb. ¹⁰ And those who are dwelling upon the earth rejoice over them and will be joyous, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell upon the earth. ¹¹ And after the three and a half days the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those who view them. ¹² And they heard a loud voice out of heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies viewed them.
