"After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: For I go to the father."
Then said some of his disciples between themselves, "What is this that he saith unto us, 'After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: and that I go to the father?'"
They said therefore, "What is this that he saith, 'After a while?' We cannot tell what he saith."
Jesus perceived that they would ask him, and said unto them, "This is it that ye enquire of between yourselves, that I said, 'After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me.'
Verily, verily I say unto you, Ye shall weep and lament, and the world shall rejoice. Ye shall sorrow: but your sorrow shall be turned to joy.
A woman when she travaileth hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
And ye now are in sorrow: but I will see you again, and your hearts shall rejoice, and your joy shall no man take from you.
