Matthew⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁹ Whether is it easyer to saye to the sicke of the palsie, thy synnes are forgeuen the: or to saye: aryse, take vp thy bed, and walke? ¹⁰ That ye maye knowe that the sonne of man hath power in earth to forgeue synnes, he spake vnto the sicke of the palsye: ¹¹ I saye vnto the, aryse and take vp thy bedde, and get the hence into thyne owne house. ¹² And by and by he arose, toke vp the bedde, & wente forthe before them all: in so muche that they were all amased, and glorifyed God sayinge: we neuer saw it on thys fasshyon.
