Murdock⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ For if we have been planted together with him into the likeness of his death, so shall we be also into his resurrection. ⁶ For we know, that our old man is crucified with him; that the body of sin might be abolished, and we be no more servants to sin: ⁷ for he that is dead to it, is emancipated from sin. ⁸ If then we are dead with Messiah, let us believe that we shall live with the same Messiah. ⁹ For we know that Messiah rose from the dead, and no more dieth; death hath no dominion over him. ¹⁰ For in dying, he died for sin, once; and in living, he liveth unto God. ¹¹ So also do ye account yourselves as being dead to sin, and alive to God, through our Lord Jesus Messiah.
