Everyone who passes by it will be astonished, and will say, 'Why has the LORD done this to this land, and to this house?' ²² And they shall answer, 'Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all these disasters on them.'"
