14 But even if you do suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled;
15 But set apart Christ as Lord in your hearts: and always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you; but do it with gentleness and respect,
16 Keeping a good conscience, so that when you are falsely accused, those who revile your good behaviour in Christ may be ashamed.
17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for doing right, than for doing evil.
