John 11:53-57

Riverside(i) 53 From that day they plotted to kill him. 54 So Jesus no more walked about openly among the Jews, but went away from there into the country near the wild lands, to a city called Ephraim, and there he stayed with his disciples. 55 The Passover of the Jews was near and many went up to Jerusalem from the country before the Passover to purify themselves. 56 They were looking for Jesus and were saying to one another, as they stood in the Temple courts, "What do you think? That he will not come to the feast?" 57 The high priests and the Pharisees had given orders that, if any one knew where he was, he should report it so that they might arrest him.
