Romans 14:8-12 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord: Whether we therefore live, or die, we are the Lord's.

TKJU⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord: Whether we therefore live, or die, we are the Lord's. ⁹ Because, for this purpose Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. ¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you disregard your brother as nothing? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ¹¹ For it is written, "As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God." ¹² So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
