Acts 13:32-39

Thomson(i) 32 And we proclaim to you the glad tidings with respect to the promise made to the fathers, 33 That God hath fulfilled it to us their children by raising up Jesus, even as it is written in the second psalm, "Thou art my son, this day I have begotten thee" 34 and that he hath raised him from the dead never more to return to corruption, as he said, "I will give you the gracious promises to David which are faithful: 35 and therefore, in another place, he saith, "Thou wilt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption!" 36 For David indeed, having in his generation answered the purpose of God, went to rest and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption; 37 but he whom God raised up did not see corruption. 38 Be it known therefore to you, Men, brethren, that by this person remission of sins is proclaimed to you; 39 and that by him every one who believeth is acquitted from all those sins, from which you Could not be acquitted by the law of Moses.
