Exodus 24:6-11

Thomson(i) 6 And Moses took half of the blood and poured it into bowls, and the other half of the blood he poured out against the altar. 7 Then he took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do and we will be obedient. 8 Thereupon Moses took the blood and scattered it towards the people and said, Behold the blood of the covenant which the Lord hath made with you touching all these words. 9 Then Moses and Aaron and Nadab and Abiud and seventy of the senate of Israel went up; 10 and they saw the place where the God of Israel stood; and what was under his feet was like a pavement of Sapphire, and in clearness like the appearance of the firmament of heaven. 11 And of these chosen men of Israel not one uttered a dissenting voice.
