And this half of a didrachm shall be an offering to the Lord. ¹⁴ Every one who passeth the review from twenty years old and upwards shall give this offering to the Lord. ¹⁵ He who is rich shall add nothing to it, and he who is poor shall deduct nothing from the half of a didrachm when you give this offering to the Lord to make atonement for your lives. ¹⁶ And thou shalt take the money of this offering from the children of Israel and apply it to the service of the tabernacle of the testimony. And it shall be a memorial before the Lord to make atonement for your lives.
