Exodus 3:13-15 Then Moses said to God, Behold when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of our fathers hath sent me to you; and they shall say, What is his name? What shall I say to them?

Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹³ Then Moses said to God, Behold when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of our fathers hath sent me to you; and they shall say, What is his name? What shall I say to them? ¹⁴ On which God spoke to Moses saying, I am The I Am. Moreover he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, The I Am hath sent me to you. ¹⁵ Again God said to Moses, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, The Lord, the God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaak, and the God of Jacob hath sent me to you. This is my everlasting name and memorial to all generations.
